STRATEGIC MARKETING TACTICS
A publishing strategy acts as a basis of a marketing plan. It contains a group of specific actions needed to effectively execute a marketing strategy. It may be decided to for instance to use a cheap product to interest customers. It then follows that when our low-cost product establishes an understanding with customers we will market extra improved-margin products and services.
For a strategy to work it must contain a set of well thought out procedures. Although you are able to construct a procedural marketing plan without a well thought out strategy, it is not advisable. Unless the marketing strategy is a well planned one it will have no proper basis. Whilst a good Marketing strategy will act as a sound base of your marketing plan, both to serve the needs of the consumer and fulfil desired objectives.
A sound marketing plan should combine a companies’ marketing aspirations, policies, and tactics into a consistent unit. Equally, the aspects of the strategy that could include advertising, Internet and public relations need to be coordinated.
